A landing page, is the first page that someone sees when they come to your website.
It doesn’t matter if they come to your site from an ad, an article or from some other source. It’s just the name given to the first page that a visitor lands on.
A landing page can be a lead capture page, also known as a “squeeze page” or a product description page or just about everything else under the sun.
The take away, is that you want your landing page to have a specific purpose be it lead capture, sales generation or some other purpose. Not multiple purposes, just 1 purpose per landing page.
