This week’s tip comes to us from CSS How To. It involves converting a Photoshop PSD file into a CSS layout for your website.
When would something like this be useful?
Let’s say you’re surfing a site design site and you find that they have a really nice Photoshop PSD file that you would like to use to layout your website. You know that you need to convert it to a CSS layout, but you have no idea how to go from PSD to CSS. Those instructions should help you accomplish that.
I’ve seen offers from companies to convert the files from one format to the other and charge upwards of $100 per file for the service. I thought I’d post these instructions in case you were needing to do a conversion or two of your own.
